Melissa was rather puzzled at what lay before her.
"A... Pikachu costume? Made of latex?"
She had walked into the sitting room to find a package, opened, and the suit in question lying crumpled on the floor. The package was addressed to her friend Haruhi Atsume, but somehow if this was what had been delivered it was not the usual place she would leave such a thing,and not so carelessly.
The blonde picked up the yellow object, a complete human-shaped suit, complete with a hood-mask. The two eye holes revealed something else unusual. Inside the Pikachu costume was a Meowth costume.

August hugged herself. Her bones rattled inside her skin as her bare feet padded quickly across the tiled kitchen floor. The sound of a television went on indistinctly somewhere behind her.
"Hm."
She stopped, scanning the room, awkwardly hopping on her feet to keep off the cold porcelain.
"Heh, right."
Her eyes fixed on her prize and she tip-toed to the pantry door, it's laminated wood obscured by a thick purple fabric. She dislodged the garment and draped it over her shoulder, then bent over and picked up a similar maroon bundle of cloth. She parked the purple one on the kitchen counter and pulled the other over her head and t-shirt.

Colton walked outside, tiptoeing slowly into the darkness of the night. As for why he had to be so quiet, it was his nearby neighbor, who he didn't even know the name of.
